Sausalito is a beautiful, charming town with a Mediterranean-vibe to it; from here you can enjoy great panoramic views of the bay of San Francisco. Muir Woods is the home of the Giant Redwoods, these incredibly old and tall Sequoia Trees that will leave you mesmerized.
