Our family-owned and operated Tour and Travel company was founded in the heart of New York City. We believe that traveling should be tailor-made for each individual. Our dedication is to help our clients with concierge-level services and unique experiences that will bring out the best in their trips. Our second generation is joining the team, bringing with them new perspectives to face today's travel industry challenges.

Founder's story
Our Journey Timeline from '79 to today
Back when our family first started in 1979 selling bespoke vacations to Venice, Florence and Rome, travel agencies were brick & mortar storefronts where 90% of Americans would go to organize their annual family trip. It's quite staggering to think how the travel industry has changes over the last 3 decades. As the online travel industry took over the market, many traditional travel agencies have unfortunately closed down. This, we feel, has created a loss of those traditional values mostly associated to old school travel agents – knowledge, expertise, and investment in the client's journey.
In the late 1990s, when we pioneered our first online booking platform to match the industry's new demands, we made sure to still keep our true travel agency core alive. To us online travel platforms were not meant to completely obliterate the figure of the travel agent, but rather allow guests easier access to our traditional travel agency services. This is why we created and how we run our two websites – NewYorkWelcome and USAWelcome.

We are experts in tailoring road trips across the United States, city-cations, local experiences, staycations, and more. We can create travel experiences to meet our clients' goals and budgets. Most of our tours are offered in English, Italian, Spanish and French. On request, we can accommodate German and Portuguese speakers. We work with leisure travelers, corporate groups of all sizes as well as partner with domestic and international travel agencies to provide travel service and local support to their clients.
