California Sunset Cruise

The Sunset Bay Cruise is a perfect way to navigate the bay while relaxing aboard this historic vessel.

Leaving from the Fisherman’s Wharf, you head towards Alcatraz Island to snap some pictures of the most infamous penitentiary ever existed, around Angel Island National Park to admire the wildlife of the bay area, along Marin Headlands and Sausalito, under the impressive Golden Gate Bridge to return to the Fisherman’s Wharf.

During the entire cruise you will admire many important landmarks including the historical waterfront, Coit Tower, the Transamerica Pyramid and more!

Departure Point: Pier 43 ½ , between Taylor Street and Embarcadero, at the Fisherman’s Wharf
Summer Departure Time: Daily at 6:30 pm
Fall/Winter Departure Time: Daily at 5:30 pm

• In the Winter the Sunset Cruise is replaced by the Twilight Cruise (2-hour). Please note that the Twilight Cruise features a different itinerary.
• Advance booking is recommended, as this event may sell out
• Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the scheduled departure time
• No particular dress code required but please be sure to dress warmly if you like to be on the outside decks.
• A full bar with drinks snacks at reasonable prices is available onboard.
• Sorry, but smoking is not permitted on Red and White Fleet vessels, nor may any alcoholic beverages be brought on board, but you can bring your own food aboard from one of the delicious restaurants in Fisherman’s Wharf.
• Tickets for this cruise are valid only for date booked

  Given the frequent updates to the cruise operating days and schedule, it may take 24 to 48 hours for the calendar to reflect true availability and closure dates. This is why when our guests decide to proceed with their reservations, we only authorize their payment but won't actually charge the credit card until the table has been manually confirmed by our staff and an E-Ticket has been issued. This way if anything changes in regards to the availability of our guests' chosen date, we simply void the authorization and no charge whatsoever will appear on their credit card statement. Different from a refund that may take 5 to 8 business days to be processed, voiding an authorization will be in most cases instantly reflect on your online banking or within 24-36 hours depending on your bank/credit card.
