All these gardens are combined together in a truly exceptional nature trail. The mission of the Fairchild Tropical Garden is to
save the biodiversity of tropical flora exploring and conserving the world of tropical plants. Fundamental to this goal is to instill passion and knowledge of these plants so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of the tropical world.
Matheson Hammock Park
If you are
visiting the Fairchild don’t miss the Matheson Hammock Park for some beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. The Matheson Hammock Park is an
urban park in Miami, it is located south of Coral Gables and is bordered to the north and west by the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Park. It was opened in 1930.
The park is open from 8:00 to 17:00 and admission is $ 5 in the machine during the week and $ 7 during the Weekend.
