Exploring Boston in just one day, it's not an easy task! This is a super packed itinerary, it will take you approx. 4.5 hour to arrive in Boston where you will spend at least 4 to 5 hours exploring some of the most iconic site along the Freedom Trail including the State House and the site of the Boston Massacre. You will have free time for lunch by the Quincy Market to later continue to the site of the Boston tea party and cross the Charles river to visit Harvard university before making your way back to the city for a late evening arrival.
Our nation's capital has so much to offer. This is also a fast pace and packed itinerary. You will start the sightseeing with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery to pay homage to the Kennedy gravesite. You will then continue with some of the most important memorials including the Vietnam, the Lincoln and the War of the two Koreas. Of course you will stop for some panoramic pictures by the White House and Capitol Hill, and you will have free time to visit the famous Museum of Air and Space where you can also grab a quick bite before making your way back to nyc for a late evening arrival.
The city of Brotherly love Philadelphia is located only 1.45 minutes from NYC so it won't take too long to get there. During the morning tour around the historic district, you will discover some of the most important sites including Independence Hall and the first US Congress Hall in use while DC was under construction and where George Washington held his second Inauguration. You will also see the oldest inhabited street of the United States -- Elfreth's Alley and the House of Betsy Ross. In the afternoon, the tour will take you towards Pennsylvania country side, specifically Lancaster County, where you can learn more about the Amish community and even ride a buggy. You will arrive in NYC in the late afternoon/early evening.
It's summer time in the city and nothing beats the sandy beaches of the Hamptons. Located in the south-east shore of Long Island. Whether you first heard of the Hamptons from magazines or by watching Tv-series such as Gossip Girls and Revenge, you probably know that they are exclusive beaches where wealthy NYers escape to in the Summer. Famous residents include Oprah, Spielberg, Martha Stewart and many others. What you might not know is they are also very quaint, charming historic towns with well-appointed Main Streets. During the tour you will stop in South Hampton, East Hampton and Sag Harbor. You will be back in the city by late afternoon/early evening.
These are group tours aboard buses (or minivans) and escorted by professional tour guides. They leave from Midtown Manhattan (approx. 6:30 am) and return to the same location roughly between 7 pm and 9 pm depending on traffic. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a set arrival time. You can also decide to simply hop on a Greyhound Bus or Amtrak Train, but then you are on your own without a Guide, so you will be responsible to research and plan the itinerary once you arrive at your destination and coordinate everything.
