WHAT TO EXPECT

For many years the historic city of New Orleans has been the destination for paranormal investigators. Many homes and taverns have been under investigation, and their stories have been featured on reality shows aired on The History Channel and The Discovery Channel. This tour will take you through the French Quarter, where the "singing rain" myth originated. According to legend, after it rains, beautiful voices come out of the mist at night. Listen to the stories, and maybe you will hear some voices yourself.

Hear ghostly stories about haunted hotels and the courthouse where the state supreme court is based. You'll even visit a former slave exchange. Tour the haunted Bourbon Orleans Hotel, which has been a convent, a theater and even an orphanage. Visit the ghosts that inhabit the famous hotel and hear the stories of staff members who regularly report sightings of spirits and ghosts. Take an exciting look at the relics of voodoo ceremonies.

I’m the biggest fan of Fall activities, but haven’t had a chance to do anything beyond Apple Picking in NJ. I decided to take a last minute 2 day trip with a friend in Hudson Valley, but didn’t know where to start [...] Thankfully I was able to use New York Welcome to do the hard work for us [...]

Irene was a FANTASTIC tour guide! She was so knowledgeable about the area and was so patient with all our questions. We stopped to use the bathroom and we got coffee halfway through, she was so kind! It was a pleasure learning about Brooklyn from you!
